An OEM super glue project turns a product requirement into a repeatable branded SKU. The strongest starting point is a short brief that connects the adhesive, the customer and the retail pack. Designing a label before choosing the product can create avoidable revisions.
Choose the customer and application
Describe where the pack will be sold and what the customer is expected to repair or assemble. Identify the materials and whether a liquid or gel is being considered. Ask for a sample of the proposed grade and evaluate it before selecting claims for the packaging.
Define the first range
Choose a manageable set of pack sizes and formats. You can review Zhouyi’s 3g packs, 20g bottles and 50g bottles. Confirm current options and minimum quantities for each combination; the quantity for a standard pack may differ from the requirement for custom printing.
Prepare an artwork brief
Provide your logo, brand colors, product name, intended language and barcode requirements. Ask for the print area or dieline before completing the design. Reserve space for instructions, product identification and any required market-specific information.
Use claims that match the approved grade and supporting documentation. “Suitable for all materials” is not a useful substitute for a defined application. If the artwork is translated, review the meaning of instructions and product names as well as spelling.
Approve the complete pack
Review the label or card together with the actual bottle or tube. Check readability, color, alignment, opening method and carton presentation. Record the approved artwork filename and revision date. Keep an approved sample so later orders can be compared with an agreed reference.
Make reorders straightforward
Create a specification sheet for each SKU: adhesive code, net content, container, nozzle, closure, artwork version and carton quantity. Agree how proposed changes will be reviewed. A new cap, label supplier or pack format should be discussed against the approved specification rather than assumed to be interchangeable.
